  2. Taping Calculator installation instructions - 11/97

  4. Hello, this is the author Laird Hariu. I hope you enjoy working
  5. with this software product. Don't forget that because this is
  6. shareware I want you to give copies of the installation diskette
  7. to your friends.
  8.  
  9. The Taping Calculator on this diskette can be installed on Windows 95 
  10. and Windows NT 4.0 PCs. It is a Win 32 application written in Visual
  11. C++. It has been tested on Windows 95 and Windows NT.
  12.  
  13. This product does not require the presense of any other files on your
  14. PC. It should be self contained.
  15.  
  16. This product may have reached you in at least three ways that I can
  17. think of.
  18.  
  19. 1) You may have recieved a diskette with all the installation
  20. files separated and ready to go.
  21.  
  22. To install the calculator, put the diskette in the A: drive and go
  23. to the control panel and start the Add/Remove programs application.
  24. Find the A:\setup program and follow the on screen instructions from
  25. there. This program will install like most other Windows 95
  26. applications. The control panel can also be used to de-install this
  27. program.
  28.  
  29. 2) You may have recieved a diskette with only a "zip" file of this
  30. program.
  31.  
  32. To install, run pkunzip or Winzip on the zip file while it is still on
  33. the diskette. Extract the files to that same diskette (they will fit)
  34. and then proceed with the diskette based installation instructions
  35. in point 1) above.

  37. 3) You may have downloaded a "zip" file of the program from the internet
  38. or from an online service. Copy this zip file to a diskette and proceed
  39. with steps 2) and 1) above.
